Compared to past Monday Rendezvous this weekends happenings were pretty uneventful. It was a rainy weekend here in Europe so we took the chance to chill and recharge! Which honestly, was much needed in the Yarrish Haus.
Teylor and I did, however, have our first date night since Le Sud on Valentine’s Day so we were ready for a night without Greyson (but of course by the end of the night we missed him!). Teylor took me our for sushi and a movie in Luxembourg. It was my first movie at the big theater there and it was definitely interesting the movie being in English, but with subtitles in French and German. I found myself getting distracted by the subtitles and wonder what English word paired with theirs.
The sushi was delicious, Infinity Wars was entertaining, and I was lucky to steal away some alone time with Teylor- a win of a date night in my book!
I also have an exciting announcement before getting into random lessons learned!
I’m trying out something new this coming month! I’ve been brainstorming ways to really dive deep into topics and questions that I get often rather than surface level answering these questions and concerns every time they come up. My solution? Themed months!
For the month of May I’ll be answering all things Anniversary sessions on the Journal, email, and Instagram and Facebook! I plan on hosting Facebook and Instagram Live chats to talk about some commonly asked questions and writing up blog posts to deep dive into some of the tougher questions.
I’m seriously excited to be trying this out! If you have any questions regarding the AYP Anniversary Experience now is a great time to ask so I can answer it in May!
– Air compressors in cars are expensive, but necessary. German Summers with no air conditioning in the car is a no go!
– Rici is just as cute as she looks! It was so great connecting with a fellow photographer this past week- we are planning something fun and we’re excited to share soon!
– Super preliminary and still in the early planning, but we’re going to Greece this Fall! I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity!
– As silly as this sounds, I’m considering it a major happening this week… I hit 700 followers on Instagram! I have been on IG since the start, not always using it for business (do yourself a favor and don’t scroll way back!), but now that I am it’s how I find a lot of clients. It might even be why you’re reading this! If we aren’t already Insta pals, let’s make that happen!
– The biggest lesson learned of the week: Szechuan beef is literally the spiciest thing I have ever consumed (aside from the worlds hottest pepper at a Mexican restaurant I accidentally ate years ago… it was small, but mighty).
– We get about half a thunderstorm each year and maybe one really bad one. I’m happy to report we have now met this years quota! We got an insane storm last night including what sounded like massive hail. So I didn’t get any sleep last night and Germany can now not thunder and lightening for the rest of the year 😉

I love that each week you blog about your experiences living in Europe! I would do this, but mine would be far less interesting. Congrats on going to Greece! It’s definitely on my bucket list!

Her ring was so pretty! It was the first thing that caught my eye thanks to the rich emerald color!
