It’s Not Goodbye… It’s See Ya Later!
When you go to your clients home for the first time and you are greeted with puppy paws you know it’s gonna be a great visit! Cherie and I instantly bonded over puppies and many of the same views about the military- it was great! Then she went into detail about why this love story session was so important and dear to her and then I knew we were seriously a perfect match. She was upfront about considering several photographers from the start- which I love, I want clients to feel we are an amazing match! So of course I was honored to be among her top choices- even more so after I heard just how important this session really was.
Cherie and Dan have been loving the life in Germany for FOUR years! Amazing! Of course that also meant it was time to move on to another location. Cherie explained this time her husband was embarking on an unaccompanied tour which sent her back home to America. She was excited to have the photos done not only to bring her comfort, but also have up to date pictures to send to Dan throughout the year. I instantly knew how much these photos would mean to her.
And how could you take family photos without the pup, Rebel?! You can’t! So when the day came it was sunny for us in the midst of a rainy week (when is it not here) and it was perfection! They were so well dressed, Rebel too, and looked stunning against the back drop of turning fall leaves! These two were so relaxed during their session it was a breeze to get wall worthy photos.
I cannot imagine how difficult a year without your love must be, but I hope this meaningful love story session brings you two comfort, Cherie and Dan!
