The way David looks at his precious baby, Ariel, is heart melting to say the very least. The way he holds her and tells her he loves her, and that she is beautiful. Ariel is so small in his arms, but she doesn’t have a care in the world when she is there. I could go on forever, but simply put these two are adorable and have such a perfect relationship already <3
When I opened up an inquiry requesting a DAD and Me Session during my Mommy & Me Spring Sessions I knew it was going to be epic! Such a sweet idea. I love me some Mommy & Me’s, but I don’t often see the Dads and their babes being featured! So good on you Momma for having the insight and smarts to capture your two loves and their relationship!
I always always take the time to highlight the Dad and kiddo relationship in my full family sessions, but this was the first time I had an entire session of them. Spoiler alert: I loved it! I just can’t say this enough, thank you, Brianna, for reminding me that these are moments that need to be focused on, not just highlighted. I cannot wait to get more Dads and their baby loves in front of my camera!
In case I haven’t made it clear enough already- I love these photos of Ariel and her Dad. Not just because they are pretty, which they are if I do say so myself, but because of what they mean now and what they will mean in the future. Now they are a reminder of how tiny Ariel was yesterday, the darling looks they give each other, the way he holds her and loves her. They are so important now, but I’m going to be bold and say they will be even more important in one year, three years, ten years, and so many more down the line.
And someday Ariel will be showing her children their Grandpa holding their Momma as a teeny babe.
Creating heirlooms for your family to pass down and show your grandkids, and great grandkids makes my heart so happy and full. Words cannot express how much it means to me. In my family, we sit around for hours looking through photos of generations past. We go through photos we have seen so many times before, but it seems I hear a new story every time I see the same photo of my great grandmother, GG (she was quite the character!).
I might have gone down the rabbit hole a tad here, but thank you, David and Brianna, for allowing me to capture your memories with your beautiful baby girl. It genuinely has filled my soul with joy!
