WRITING FROM : GERMANY

Destination film photography | Beautiful hat from Munich, Germany | European Destination Wedding & Anniversary Photographer | Houston, TX Photographer | Munich, Germany

I think it’s safe to say we are FINALLY over the jetlag. It took over a week- I cannot even believe that! Thanks to my Instagram friends for giving me loads of great suggestions on how to get over it!

Oh, and the lovely lady with the artisan hat? That’s Meredith! She messaged me wanting a branding session in Munich, and so to Munich I went! It was such a fun time getting to know this pretty lady and exploring the German city with her- a more than successful destination film photography excursion!

Things & stuff from the past week:

• I had to apologize to Greyson’s daycare teachers today because he’s getting a tooth… and he’s cranky (honestly, that’s an understatement)

• We all went to the gym as a family this weekend thanks to the parent room and Tarzan! It felt good to get back into an exercise routine! Anyone else with me?!

• My name is Alicia, and I’m addicted to Candy Crush.. and I finally finished level 1055! That might not mean much, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been stuck there for a month.

• We miss our Texas family so so much (and a certain cranky teething baby has prevented us from Facetiming so we miss them even more!)

• Who’s done their taxes?! This girl! If you’re a business owner and want to talk taxes- email me, I love tax time!

• The dreary weather canceled some sessions and I’m crossing fingers for better weather this weekend! (We’ll see how that goes… it IS Germany)

PowerSheets: January Recap & February Planning

And since it’s the last Monday Rendezvous of the month I thought it would be fun to share what’s on my PowerSheets! If you use these bad boys be sure and comment your progress! I’d love to be your cheerleader! (And thanks for being mine!)

My Monthly January Goals:

• Finish taxes (check!)

• Find one area of my business to automate (check!)

• Loose 3 lbs (check!)

• Understand how to use new business systems (check!)

• Have a date night! (didn’t happen in January, but February’s is already scheduled!)

My Weekly January Goals:

• Do something for me (check!)

• Blog three times per week (oops, didn’t quite hit this goal)

My Daily January Goals:

• Drink a gallon of water (check-ish, 3/4 of the month!)

• Exercise (about half)

• Yoga sequence (about half)

• Ketosis (check!)

• Use essential oils (check!)

Overall I did okay on my goals this month. Especially for only being home in Germany for half! It’s always hard to stay on track away from home and then transitioning back into ‘normal’ daily life. I’m excited about what February is going to bring!

How did you do on your January goals!?

I’m sure you did fabulously, but just in case you fell a little short like I did- it’s nothing we can’t correct in February! We got this!
