Filled in :
If we’re friends, and I land in your inbox each Friyay, you got some insider scoop this morning on why I’m your Europe photographer. (Don’t wanna miss out on any future goodness?) The very first thing I said in my email? I can’t believe I’m going this in depth about this topic!
Having a business and being in the military is a difficult balance between not sharing enough and sharing too much. So it’s hard having a business and a husband in the military! Oh, and to top it all off? Try moving your personal life and your business every few years.
No matter where I have lived, one thing has remained constant- my love for Europe, specifically France. I used to dream of European countries and what their cultures were actually like. Was it truly like what I had read on blogs and seen on The Travel Channel? I needed to know for myself!
What better way to incorporate Europe into my life than starting the journey towards an International Business Degree? I couldn’t think of one! So I did it. As a result, I went on an 11-week journey to over 10 countries in Europe, India, and China. It was academically challenging, but I wanted to soak in the culture in each and every country. So I studied at coffee shops and reward myself with people watching breaks.
I felt right on that trip. The only thing missing? My then very significant, significant other, Teylor.
When I got back home to Houston I gushed for months about all the European countries I had experienced! I couldn’t wait for Teylor and me to experience it together! Fast forward a few years, Teylor joins the Air Force. We requested a base within the continental United States so we could stay close to family.
I’d be lying if I said it was all rainbows and sunshine from the start. I’ll never forget getting the call from Teylor, the one I knew he was going to tell me what his paperwork said about where we’d be going first. Sitting in my car at Barnes and Nobles looking at the happy people sitting outside sipping their coffee I just sobbed. I didn’t want to be away from family, I didn’t want to move my business, I didn’t want to potentially start my family an ocean away from my support system.
Over the next few days, it sunk in, this was my dream. I could stop dreaming about being a Europe photographer and BE one.
Enough about me, friend, I’m so excited to share the reasons it’s so great that I’m here for you as your Europe photographer! I truly believe you having me here is in your best interest- and here’s why!
Once you’re in Europe, traveling is no big deal. In this part of the world, there are trains, subways, and buses galore! I adore being able to hop on a train, with ease, and have it take me wherever my business takes me. When you hire an American that lives in America you’ll be responsible for their airfare, a few extra days of hotel and food costs, and potentially a rental vehicle. None of that really rings true with hiring a Europe photographer that lives in Europe!
In the past three years of living in Europe, my little family has traveled, a lot. It’s something we are very passionate about! We have kept detailed records about sites and attractions we’ve seen in each city as well as where we ate, how we got around, and of course, the where the best coffee joints are- adorably called cafés here. I love sharing all of this information with my couples! I want you to have the very best experience when you come to Europe for your destination engagement session, wedding, or anniversary experience!
Sometimes it can be seriously overwhelming to plan anything happening in Europe, from America. I know because I’ve done it. It’s because of knowing that overwhelm that I offer assistance to my couples. You’re my number one priority! So if you need assistance scheduling a venue walkthrough or are having trouble envisioning how an area looks in a certain season. Chances are, it’s easier for me to pick up the phone and ask a simple question for you if the vendor is in Europe. Chances are, I’ve been to the region you’re dreaming of for your big day! Chances are, I can help make some of that overwhelm go away- rest assured that I’m here for you! And me being in Europe? Simply put, it’s a huge advantage for you and yours.
Dreaming of a destination wedding? Married, but oh so ready for those romantic anniversary portraits in front of the Eiffel? Let’s chat!
Don’t forget, if you missed out on my inside scoop in your inbox today and don’t want to miss anymore, just leave me your name & email below!

Ohh if I ever visit Europe I know who I’m getting to be my photographer. You do such beautiful work! It is so natural.
Jennifer, you just made my night! Thank you so much- that means a lot! Now you have to come to Europe!
This is such a cool post! I love hearing about your transition to living in Europe. I can totally understand how it would be soooo scary at first, but then be a total dream in the long run!! Gorgeous photography S always!! xx
You’re so right about it being scary at first, but we love it now! Thank you, Katie!
Yes! Such great points about hiring a Europe photographer that actually lives there. Oh what a journey you’ve been on so far! I can only hope that one day I’ll be able to visit Europe and experience the culture like you have. 🙂
Set that goal, Ally and you can for sure make it happen! I cannot recommend visiting enough!
Sounds like you definitely know how you rock being a Europe Photographer xo
Thanks, Meagan! I’ve been trying 😉
If I ever visit Europe, I’ll definitely be contacting you! Love your photos.
Aww, Mabel! You’re the best- thank you for such a compliment!
I am a little envious! I’ve never been to Europe, but it’s on the bucket list for sure! I bet it was an adjustment but also such a neat experience to be able to call it home, <3
Wow! I’m a little envious of your life! Europe has always been on the travel list and hoping that my love of photography takes me there one day! Thanks for sharing your story!
Oh Meghan, there is truly no reason to envy it! If you want your photography to allow you to come here write some goals and make a plan to get here- it’s easier than you think with baby steps! Thanks for your sweet comment!
Your story is so awesome! I love getting out to photograph in Europe, but it would be really nice to have more of an inside scoop!
Ooh I’ve heard of family vacation photographers! We’re heading to Paris next month — I’ll have to check out your site! It’s be so fun to get some family photos done while we’re in Europe!
You are an amazing Europe photographer. You are lucky to be living in a beautiful place and doing what you love.
I want your life! Its a dream of mine to live abroad – and I agree that no one will know Europe better than a local! Great tips!
I love how you’ve taken what could have been such a hardship with moving and turned into such a joy! Being a Europe photographer has always been such a dream of mine too! When I travel I think of what it must really be like to live there. Thanks for sharing such a neat glimpse.
So much jealousy over here! Europe is definitely at the top of my list of places to go – hopefully this year or next! You do such a beautiful job! xo
What I wouldn’t give for a photo session in Europe! How dreamy!!!
I love everything about this. You have overcome being away from family and turned your time into something so wonderful❤️❤️
