I’ll never forget photographing Brittany in Chateau Cocomar’s grand halls. Primarily because of how breathtaking Brittany is- she’s made for the French-inspired venue in Houston! The second reason being, I somehow locked my keys in the car after her session. The good news is, it only took about 30 minutes to figure out my keys physically cannot be locked in the car. I just needed to shut the doors (that looked shut) more for the car to unlock. Husband to the rescue there because I was panicking! Also taught me a valuable lesson not to leave your phone (or keys) in the car- you might need to call someone if you do something silly like ‘lock’ the keys in your car!
But car situation aside, this session was one for the books. The chateau is absolutely stunning and I loved the number of places we were able to photograph on the property. It was a little rainy the day before so we didn’t venture out in front of the building for fear of getting her gorgeous gown dirty. Which was okay because there are so many picturesque places inside!
To see more photos from Brittany’s bridal session at Chateau Cocomar head over to her full feature on the AYP Journal!
Features are such a compliment to both the bride and me! So I always celebrate and do a happy dance when I get the email that a client is being featured. Tacari Weddings is a great place for inspiration to brides in all areas of America and I’m thrilled to have several couples featured on their outlet.
A big thank you to Tacari Weddings for highlighting Brittany’s Chateau Cocomar Bridal Session! And to Brittany for allowing me the pleasure of capturing these memories for you and your family! It’s been an absolute joy getting to know you, Chip, and your little one (who is absolutely adorable!).
