Christine and Garret’s day was a true pleasure to photograph. From the start of working together, I knew their wedding day was going to be not only stunning but intimate and meaningful. Garrett asked Christine to marry him in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower! If you know me, that’s one of my favorite cities- I’m biased, but Garrett chose the absolute best place to propose.

It only made sense to continue the European vibes they love so much from their proposal into their Texas vineyard engagement session (featured on Brides of Houston) and of course, their wedding day at Houston Oaks Country Club.

Everything from getting ready through to Garret and Christine’s sparkler exit was picture perfect at Houston Oaks. It provides such an amazing backdrop for your European-inspired wedding day. With Southern France and Italy feeling landscaping, French architecture in the Ladies Lounge, the iconic 15th century French chapel. It truly was the perfect venue for this couple- and Christine knew it the second she stepped on the property. This was the first and last venue she toured and she was right!

When your bride is a wedding planner you know every little detail will be thought out. And it was! Christine, owner of Houston Soirée, planned her own wedding day to perfection. Her custom crest was featured throughout each part of her day in subtle but impactful areas. My favorite place she displayed their crest was on their custom dance floor. She even had her perfume bottle and Garret’s wedding gift engraved. Overall the design came together beautifully- the Italian greens and French blues paired so well with subtle pinks throughout.
