This past week was filled with family and friend time! I loved every minute of it. Of course there was lots of work too, but they say it’s not work when you love what you do, right? 🙂 So here’s the bullet version of things that happened and lessons learned:
• I learned SO much about the different types of French florists– and spoiler alert, it’s way different than in America
• Grey said “delirious” appropriately because he was way past tired and running around like a wild child. I’m not sure if I should be proud or slightly scared 😉
• It’s raining! Which means it’s finally cooling off here! (Zero clue what I’m talking about? Read here)
• We found out the rain is cooling things off AND that our local indoor pool is undergoing renovations, just on the inside. How? We went to swim of course! Because it’s been so hot lately we knew it would be perfect for indoor or out. Wrong! Luckily their outside pools are heated, but leaving we were all shivering. (Thanks Brandi and Lindsey for shivering with us!)
• We got a lot of cleaning and sorting done! We’re decluttering our home in an effort to have less stuff and more meaningful things in our lives. It’s SO hard! If you’ve gone through this process you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, just know, it’s rough.
• We’re halfway through August! I was shocked on August 1st and now I’m shocked all over again! I know many of you have kiddos or nieces and nephews that are going back to school and I’m loving seeing all the back to school photos on FB and IG. Gets me all excited for when we send Grey to school!
• My business bestie and I recorded some new podcast episodes! We’re releasing a podcast soon by Moi & Toi called The Boss Code and we couldn’t be more excited!!
