For the longest time, 4 years to be exact, I’ve had my elevator pitch down- “Hi there! I’m Alicia- I photograph European destination weddings and anniversaries for classy couples that love…” It was what I did, it was easy, and I had it down!
After about two years, we visited Houston for the first time since we had moved away. This time we came back to our family and friends with a brand new babe! I began to take on sessions and second shooting when I came home so I started to add to my elevator pitch that I also worked in Houston.
The time has come now and we have officially made the move from Germany back to Houston! I could put 10 exclamation points behind that sentence and I promise you it still wouldn’t be enough! We are so happy to have our support system back! We love that Grey gets to see family about a hundred times more than when we lived in Germany.
Of course, it was extremely difficult to say bye to a country that we developed a deep love for. Greyson and I left pretty suddenly and we weren’t able to say goodbye to all our friends or re-visit our favorite spots for a formal farewell.
But now, my elevator pitch is completely different- I am primarily a Houston photographer who offers destination photography! I’m hoping to continue my work in France, but also all around the United States. I have a huge love for travel and I always want that to shine through my website and work.
So hi there! I’m Alicia, a wedding and anniversary photographer based in Houston, Texas jet setting near and far to capture your relationship for you- the brunch loving, airport people watching, can’t stop giggling at each other in love couple! But hey- don’t forget I also love a good family session and also offer branding sessions for creative entrepreneurs.
I couldn’t help but put a list together of some of our favorite adventures and spots we claim as our own (even though we likely share them with millions of other tourists- oops).
– France
– Czech Republic
– Germany
– Austria
– Belgium
– The Netherlands
– Italy
– Luxembourg
– England
There are definitely more countries we want to explore together as a family, but I’d say we got a pretty great start to our European adventures!
