Filled in :
I’m gearing up for another exciting trip to Paris! This time around for a bridal shoot I am 100% geeking out over! It aligned perfectly though to be able to see a fellow photographer and good friend, Marie of Lininger Rood Photography!
I cannot believe this, but it’s been one year since attending the Paris Signature Atelier– a photography workshop geared towards high end destination wedding photographers. Marie and I met at the workshop and have been friends ever since.
This year Marie is back at the workshop! I chose different education avenues I’m thrilled I’m getting to meet her in Paris! A year is far too long not to see a friend, but unfortunately that’s a common length of time when you live overseas.
As a total side note- education is incredibly important to me. Whether it’s a conference to learn what others in the industry are up to, a more intimate workshop like the Paris Signature Atelier for more niche educational topics, or one on one mentoring to improve my business.
Every year, I choose one way to invest in my business. Doing this provides more value to my couples! I quickly become more knowledgable about my craft as well as streamline how I run my business. This year I chose one on one mentoring and I have absolutely adored that process and how much I’ve learned!
(It also allows me to educate other business owners!)
So this weekend Marie and I are having some much needed girl time and catching up in all things life and business!
I might have been a bit misleading with the castles part of my title this week, but I couldn’t help myself. Teylor, Greyson, and I found one of the neatest parks we’ve been to yet! The entire park was a castle theme! Appropriate for the area and so fun for the kiddos.
If we’re friends on Instagram you saw photos of the park via IG Stories. I’ve gotten so many messages about where the park is and how fun it looks (which I can say, it’s very fun!).
So that’s this week in a nutshell- heading to Paris, it’s somehow been a year since attending the Signature Atelier, and we love the castle park!
I hope you have an amazing week! Let me know what you’re up to this week. How are we already halfway through July?! Someone tell me!
