I don’t want to jinx it, but I’m hoping Germany is official in Spring now! We’ve had a long Winter (or so I thought!), but now the sun is starting to come out more consistently and we’re warming up to 70! I had been crossing my fingers and toes for sun this past weekend specifically though- with good reason.
– I shot the cutest bridal portraits at a Schloss nearby- which is basically a German chateau! So obviously we were all looking forward to it, and the sun cooperated! I’m so excited to share their blog post later on and tell a little of their story (it’s a good one!). The photo above is a sneak of Rome and Aejha- how cute are they?!
– Teylor, Greyson, and I were able to go on two hikes and enjoy the warmth over the weekend as well! And impressively enough not get sunburnt! The past few years I’ve gotten a pretty great burn from the first truly sunny day after Winter. It’s hard to remember sunscreen when you haven’t seen the bright ball of light in the sky for 6 months!
– I spoke to a German woman about the longest Winter in Germany. Apparently, 18 years ago they had a Winter that resulted in a hard freeze until May! She said the two feet of snow and ice everywhere was finally gone by June that year. I cannot even believe that!
– I’ve decided after photographing a beautiful bridal session at a schloss- I’d adore to photograph a schloss wedding! Wouldn’t that be the greatest?
– Teylor and I realized after seeing people paddle boating on the lake we hiked around… We’ve never been paddle boating together! We’re slightly upset by it and will be remedying it this Summer 😉
Last week on the journal two great posts went live!

– Why you’ll want a Destination Engagement Session!
Happy Monday, friends! I hope you have a great week!
