Today’s Monday Rendezvous is actually a Tuesday! We celebrated our Texas Christmas yesterday, and we hope you spent the day with loved ones as well! I logged off all work to spend time with my family s here we go with this weeks Tuesday Rendezvous!

Teylor, Greyson, and I have been in Houston for over a week now and to say it has flown by would be an understatement. We’ve visited with family, had three Christmas celebrations, watched Moana at least 5 times, gone Christmas light looking, done a lot of shopping, and eaten a lot of delicious foods (hello, Mexican food!).

Here’s the recap :

• The flight over went surprisingly well! Although we had some screaming fits it wasn’t the entire 10.5 hours- so I’m thrilled!

• Greyson needs a huge Maui plush because he loves the movie Moana and now yells “MAUI!” when he’s in danger (it’s adorable)

• Greyson adores his family and is loving being able to engaged with everyone, not on a computer.

• Greyson (seeing a trend here? this trip is all about little man!) loves his toys and gifts! All of our family snagged just the right things!

• Teylor and I have missed living in America! As much as we love being in Europe, the US of A just has some things you can’t take with you, unfortunately.

• We have a tradition of grabbing a Starbucks and Christmas light looking- it makes our Texas Christmas complete! This year was a bit shorter than some years past (#momlife), but just as perfect!

• Did I mention Mexican food?! Teylor and I have hit up Jimmy Changas and Lupe Tortilla already and are ready for more!

• I’m currently wrapping up Day THREE of less than 20 grams of carbs per day and no gluten. It’s taken me a really long time to finally and formally make this leap, but my body is ready 😉 And I’m ready to be a healthier version of me!

• There hasn’t been snow in Houston like there has back home, but something about the non-white Christmas here in Texas just feels right <3
